The most wonderful time of the year!
I am going to do a weekly post featuring past make-ups and costumes I have done – for fun and possible inspiration.

These make-ups are from one of my favourite appointments – a group of friends would come regularly for special events (not just Halloween, but birthday pub crawls and theme nights.) This particular event was a Dead Pirates theme.

Your work and help is amazing Shannon!!! I’m wondering if there are any paints special to use around the mouth area so that people can eat and drink at the parties and not get all smudged

If they are adults I just tell them to be careful when using water activated make-up products – drink with a straw, etc. If the entire make-up needs to last through rough conditions I use theatrical cream make-up and powder it which holds up very well.
